This is a beautiful city to visit. They call it "old" and "new" Havana! For me, it was all of another world and another time. Having lunch in a popular downtown restaurant includes having chickens running beneath your feet! Music playing in the corners. Shadows lurking on the narrow streets....but always feeling safe. A time warp...Che Guevara ....loved it.

I will be in Havana this Friday and wondered if you can eat salads and related raw items. I know that in Mexico that is not a good idea. Also can you drink the water. I also know that in Mexico that also is not a good idea. Appreciate your advice. Bruce Holberg
