Brussels is a marvelous town, there are alot of places to visit: atomium, mini-Europe, Jubelpark, Jubelparkmuseum, the most famous "Manneken Pis" + "Janneken Pis" (too small figures in real life))), Grand-Place and Maison du Roi/Broodhuis, The Cocoa and Chocolate Museum. You also need to visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (the national Basilica of Belgium), St. Gudule and St. Michael's cathedral (of the 13-th century in Brabant Gothic style). Also Koninklijke Musea...
Brussels is a nice place. The Grote Market area is simply beautiful and the people are friendly. Never knew Brussels had so much to offer. It is a must go!
I'm going to Brussels for 1 day only. I don't want to do a touristy tour and am looking for cool things to explore whilst there. Something a little more different. Any recommendations would be most welcome!
I love their chocolates "Leonidas". One of the best chocolates I tasted! Nice place, peaceful, beautiful flowers, nice spots and warm people! I feel safe in this place even when there's a communication gap because some cannot speak English very well.
Hello ! I will be in Brussels in 2 weeks (for only 3 days)... from your point of view, what would be worst seeing/doing ? Thanks for your tips ! :-) --- Bonjour ! Je serai à Bruxelles dans 2 semaines (pour seulement 3 jours).. Qu'est-ce que vous me conseilleriez de voir/faire ? Merci d'avance pour vos avis ! :)
Enjoy the beer - try as many of the local, seasonal ones that you can. Have frites with mayonaise, or mustard or any of the other condiments that the vendor has provided - at first blush they may not appear to be appetizing but the belguims are not round for no reason. Of course, buy chocolate - a chocatier is available on almost every street corner.
