1. Barringer Crater

A scientist called Daniel Barringer was first to speculate the crater was created due to the impact of a meteorite. The crater measures 1 200 meters or 4 000 feet in diameter, its depth is 170 meters or 570 feet and its edges are 45 meters higher than the plain that surrounds it. The crater may not carry any esthetic appeal, but it will surely make you wonder how devastating the impact had been and how badly the earth was shaken.

2. Sedona

It’s a town that has its own distinguished appeal to make. If you visit Sedona from the capital city Phoenix, then it’s only an hour and a half drive. 5. Saguaro National Park

It’s a desert landscape that captures the essence of the wild west. The park was named after the saguaro cactus that are everywhere in the place. The major attractions of the park are petroglyphs that were written by primitive men in the prehistoric time, the wildlife, and the mountain ranges are two greatest attractions of the park. The total area of the park is 91000 acres.

Saguaro National Park is divided into two sections; the east end is located on the east and the west end is on the west side of Tucson. It takes a half-hour drive to get to the east end from the west end.
