People who like the books of Georges Simenon might find it great to follow the great writer on his "steps" around Liege, his hometown. Liege is quite industrial, crossed by a river...not really clean but having great opportunities for shopping and having a nice meal (le potage du jour is the best in a cold rainy and windy day)...Liege is also a student town - has a huge university... But as I said - too much trash for living there...

Well, it's a nice city with a nice architecture and shopping opportunities. The restaurants are very nice and they serve typical French food. I like all the little streets and old houses.:D
