Tagaytay  by Majen    25th Sep 08
Taal Lake, Mt. Taal (Taal Volcano) and a lot of restaurants around.... May 24, 2008 (I've been) An enthralling place, you'll love to stay and you'd love to be back again. Nothing can compare all the experiences. Boat riding to Taal lake we went through and hiking to Mt. Taal, to go near overlooking the Taal Volcano crater almost took my breath away because we never did horse back riding, just walked all through out, but once you get there, ahh it's relieving, the chilling coconut juice was very refreshing. The very popular Mushroom burger plus hot coffee or cold juice, it's nice. We made our dinner at Leslie's, roam around the Mahogany market place, and bought special delicacies and "pasalubong" like buko pie of Collettes, fruits like fresh coconuts, pineapple and sweet delicacies along the Tagaytay streets. Late at night we left the place and promise to visit the very cool and exciting escape.

Tagaytay City  by Rovie    7th May 08
Tagaytay is as close to paradise as one can find. This site is presented in the spirit of sharing this exceptional city and country with as many visitors, both Filipino's and visitors from abroad alike. With its cool climate and clean air, Tagaytay City is the perfect place for leisure activities like picnics, horseback riding, camping, great golfing at two championship courses, plus breath taking sightseeing. It makes for an affordable weekend getaway for most Filipino families, if they're astute enough to take advantage of the best bargains in Asia. You'll receive a warm welcome in Tagaytay and throughout the Philippines. You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier, kinder and more accommodating people than the Filipinos.

Good Times, Hot Coffee, Great Fri  by Vida    31st Mar 08
Coming from the South, Tagaytay is THE place to go for some quick R and R. It has it all! During the day, you have the option to go to a resort, a retreat house, have a picnic, hike or trek, ride horses, eat at the numerous fine or by-the-side restos, find a secluded nook to rest, read, or what-not in, or just look at the magnificent view. At night, you have quiet and not-so-quiet places to go. Early mornings in Tagaytay are the best, starting off with hearing mass at the Pink Sisters and later having coffee and pancakes. Before going home, dont forget to get your "pasalubong" at Good Shepherd for some ube, buko pie, or peanut brittle.
