Manila is not only the envelope or the hemp (abaca fibre used for rope making). It is the former capital of the Philippines, culturally rich and interesting. An entertainment paradise which offers an astounding board of music, dance, performing arts, stand up comics, showcasing the multi- talented Filipinos.
For the food adventurer, must to visits is Dads, Kamayan, and Saisaki in Padre Faura, the street where the Supreme Court and University of the Philippines are also located. For half the price of 5-star hotel buffets, you can feast on 3 cuisines, Filipino, Japanese and continental. For as long as you finish the food on your plate, you can come back for more and get rewarded with a 50% discount. The restaurant is almost always full so get there early for lunch and dinner.
