Very beatiful country. Nice people. Potos is unforgetable, also Sucre. I left Oruro and Uyuni for a next visit. Take for sure I'll go again.

I went to Santa Cruz for a week of working. It was amazing! Not the work, of course... A huge city, very green, many good restaurants, nice clubs, lovely people... Ah, a crazy traffic! A place I would like to visit in the near future.

Salares de Uyuni is the most astounding place you can visit. If you take nothing else take a good pair of shades and plenty of rolls of film / memory. The salt flats and Isla de Pescado are fantastic. The lakes, wildlife and people are top notch. A look at this place from google earth is enough to make a geologist dribble. A three day guided tour in a four wheel drive is the way to see this part of Bolivia. When you leave Uyuni on an overnight bus you'll see lots of local people with thick rolls of blankets. If you haven't bought something with alpaca on it yet make the use of the market now.
