Went to Cuba Feb 08 did not know what to expect really,however had a lovely time Havana was an eye opener such a poor country but also they are such a happy country,friendly and have a great education system.enjoyed listening to there way off life learnt so much, far more than if you were reading a book. things like a professor is working as a tourist guide as its more money as they have two currencies convertible Peso is for the tourist but Peso is for workers the only way to get convertible is to be in tourist game they need this to buy non essential things and is worth more than theres.they do not have banks, there cars some thing else and was told a Lada is worth 10.000 pound crazy. Life is very hard for Cubans but i found them such lovely people,in fact I came home with no makeup or cosmic jewelery.there law should change it cant be right to live in theres ages like this.

When you live like a Cuban, your life is hard: You sleep on the floor. You use all your mind for survival. If you want to buy something you go to 1000 shops and you dont find it because the shops are empty and all is expensive. You are controled all the time and more if your skin is brown. You are not alow to enter in the hotel of tourists. And you have born without hope, you are a prisoner for all your life. And you live with fear, of the police if they catch you watching and other tv than the cuban tv, of the people more poor than you who will still anything you have. But you are the most wonderfull person in the world: you share, you have study a lot oving to the free and opened day and night university so you have a great culture. And you are full of happiness, you dance, laugh and sing . You never complain.
