Just back from sunny Salou, yet another great holiday! Found the best pub ever. Big up to the guys in DANNY BOYS. Some of the nicest people, sorry... THE nicest people you'll ever meet (even though they tried to kill me with alcoholic poisoning) haha. Always a warm welcome. Stayed in the Costa Dorada Palace and cant complain. Clean, friendly and central. And have to mention LINDA'S BAR, reminds you of home. Great food even better prices Photo's will follow soon!!

I will have a week in salou april 30-may 7 any recommendations? i had planned to bus to tarragona as well for a day trip. not sure if i need warm clothes too?

Lovely place for a family holiday but not really for the young and adventurous! great theme park an water parks...beautiful beaches,friendly locals and plenty of Irish bars....it's like home away from home!on a lower note the night life isn't great!!!

Can anyone tell me how often the train runs between Salou and Barcelona or identify a web site that has that information in English? I'm flying into Barcelona and staying in Salou the last week in March.
