Staying at the Camping Standbad right next to Lake Worthensee was amazing. Unfortunately we only had one day of good weather, and the rest of the time it was raining, but we still had a wonderful time. The scenery was breathtaking and the locals all very friendly, although you should brush up on your German a little before you go because not many of the locals seem to speak much English. I was in Klagenfurt for Euro 2008 and was lucky enough to see Croatia beat Germany. I would highly recommend a visit to Klagenfurt and I would definitely consider returning again to spend more time in this beautiful country.

Is it possible to skate on ice in the lake at Klagenfurt?? :)
