An old industrial town once famous as the Brass Capital of the World has lost a lot of its shine. Now a tired aged city trying to crawl into the twentieth century. One of the poorest cities in Connecticut. Ther are some good restaurants and the Courtyard downtown puts you within walking distance of several.
