Mark T. Elliott
Founder / Executive Director
NEW BREED ENTERTAINMENT (NBE)
International
Non-Profit Organization 501(c)(3)

NBE Vision Statement for 2008
As founder of New Breed Entertainment (NBE) and community advocate for the arts, with a career that expands over 25 years; I would describe my self as a leader and innovator of urban entertainment. My vision for NBE is to introduce new and original concepts in the field of Fashion, Music, Visual Arts, and Dance, with some retro implementations of the past. While combining nostalgic cultural trends of yesterday, with fresh new ideas of today, I believe the future trends of music & art will emerge from the legacy of our rich culture, producing a New Breed of artist to come.

NBE Mission Statement
Our mission is to create a non-profit organization that helps to shape the talents and career paths of exceptional artist and young art enthusiast. Our approach is not in the traditional since, but one that allows us to streamline a curriculum that addresses the current needs and interest of the urban arts community and its emerging artist. We provide the tools and creative outlets that allow our students to be innovative and push beyond limitations.

From year 1999 to the present, New Breed Entertainment has conducted several community events and fundraisers, including art exhibition, fashion shows, and musical productions to raise money for our on-going programs. These events provide jobs, community services, and alternative activities for at-risk youth.

We have worked with such organization as Delaney Street (S.F.), The African American Cultural Center (S.F.), M.O.A.D. (S.F.), The Malango Art Center (Oakland), Youth Uprising Center (Oakland), O.C.CU.R. Annual Event, FM Studios (Emeryville), The Oakland Box Theater & Club 2232 MLK (N. Oakland), Glide Memorial Organization (S.F.), BSU of Laney College and The United Negro College Fund. We believe in the power of collaborating and networking with others, and continuing to seek the support of our community by utilizing its vast resources.

As a Non-Profit Organization, our current goals are to continue to develop our NBE programs while reaching out to inner city youth providing them with positive alternative from the dangers of the city streets. We are also working to acquire grant funding for our on-going programs, with plans to open the first Bay Area “Urban Charm School. This school will be the center and focus for teaching life skills, career development, mannerism, and producing young entrepreneurs. With the help of government grants and/or private funding to support our vision, we can begin to expand on our active NBE programs and become much more affective in serving the urban arts community.

New Breed Entertainment Active Programs of 2007:
1) Mario B’s Youth Modeling Program
2) New Breed Entertainment- Artist Development, Booking & Promotions
3) The BRS Arts Alliance
4) drumminSoul West African Art Alliance & Exhibitions
