CarlKoestner's News
Personal Note

I'd like to start off with one of my favorite quotes from Gandhi. "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." Life is a continuous cycle of change, it is what defines us. My life has been marked by continuous changes, in career, residence, and outlook on life; but in Spirit, I remain the same. Throughout my life I have been a ranch hand, a soldier, a DJ, a roadie, and sometimes hippie. For now,i am a self employed, but I believe that the job doesn't make the man. I just thank God for the various opportunities and experiences that have been afforded to me, and try to apply them in my day-to-day life.
In this life, I seek but two things, Truth & Beauty in everything, and to share it with those that I meet. It is easy if you try. When you look at life through the eyes of a child, with a simplistic sense of innocence, beauty is all around you. The same holds true for truth, you know it when you hear it, and you feel it within the essence of your being. I am also an eternal optimist, with a realistic twist. I am always hoping for the best, while preparing for the worst. After all, we do not live in a Utopian world. Yet I think it is in our nature to make our lives, and the lives of those close to us better. I just take it to the next level. Try it sometime; a kind word to a complete stranger can go a long way. Life’s lessons can be learned from an inquisitive child, or from the homeless man on the street. All that it takes is for you to listen.
