LONDON FACTS Location: South East of United Kingdom main land, England Land Area: 609 square miles (1,579 km²) Population: 7,512,400 (stats, mid 2006) Currency: Pound sterling London is the largest urban area and capital of England and the United Kingdom. It has such a wide range of peoples, cultures, and religions; over 300 (different) languages are spoken within the city! Needless to say it is nearly impossible to get bored here. When visiting, be sure to have a look around and experience as much as you can.

EGYPT FACTS Location: Africa, Middle East Land Area: 386,660 square miles (1,001,450 km²) Population: 80,300,000 (stats, 2007 US State Department estimate) Currency: Egyptian Pound Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization and some of the world's most famous monuments, including the Giza pyramid complex and its Great Sphinx. The southern city of Luxor contains numerous ancient artifacts, such as the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings. I travelled from Luxor by cruise ship to Aswan, from there by train to Cairo and from Cairo by bus to Hurghada. Definitely seen alot and would love to go back and do it all over again.
