This is a typical Norwegian recipe special used in the Autumn season, when there is a lot of lamb meat in the supermarked.
Brown 2 lb lamb cubes in 1/4 cup butter. Add 1 tbs salt, 2 tbs peppercorn and 2 cup water. Cover. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add 1 cabbage, cut in eights, cored. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Add 3/4 cup sour cream. Reheat, but do not boil.
