Located to the north of South America, Venezuela offers a vast fan of
possibilities to satisfy to most peculiar with the tourists. Beaches,
mountains, level, desert and forests occupy the national territory of
an extension of 916.445 Kms2

The country has in addition a solid infrastructure to services
that to a great extent causes the development of the tourism,
facilitating the access and permanence of the visitor, such as five
airports with facilities for the reception of international flights;
an ample road network; a hotel plant near the four hundred tourist
hotels of diverse classification and other 1,600 establishments of the
type motel, lodging and inn, number still limited for the increasing
demand of the international tourism. In this sense, the Venezuelan State promotes policies that facilitate
the national and foreign investment in tourist projects and hotel
developments, which shortly will extend this supply.

On a par with the development of the hotel profession tourism it has
been increased the tourist activities related to the benefit of the
environmental diversity of our territory; it is as well as the
adventure tourism has found propitious field for its development in
the forests of the Orinoquia, in Andean mountain ranges, the mighty
rivers and immense llaneras savannahs, the great extensions of
National Parks, something more of 15% of the territory, the numerous
caves and coralline bottoms of the islands, also lend for the
development of the tourism of adventure and scientist.

Being a Caribbean country, also he is Andean, Atlantic and amazonian.
Due to it, the World-wide Bottom of Fauna Silvestre (WWF) locates to
Venezuela between the six countries of greater diversity of the
American Continent. More of 40% of the territory one is under
conditions of Protected Zones, Refuges and Reserves of Faunas, natural
Monuments and Forest Reserves. 43 National Parks and 20 Natural
Monuments exist that occupy 16% approximately the territorial
extension.

The climates are isothermal, that is to say, that do not
present/display greater monthly average temperature differences. The annual precipitations determine the existence of two stations:
rainy season or winter (May-October) and the station of drought or
summer (November-April). However, a tempered climate stays and in
Caracas, Capital of the Republic, is always spring.

The tourist activity in Venezuela has been developed considerably in
the last decades, particularly for its favorable geographic position,
the variety of landscapes, the wealth of the flora and fauna, the
temperament cheers and warm of its population, the artistic
manifestations and their privileged climate, that allows to throughout
enjoy each region (specially the beaches) the year.
