Andaman and water Sports
The Andaman Islands are grouping archipelagic islands in the Bay of Bengal. They are also the part of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Union Territory of India. The islands have a craggy terrain with coastal areas of white sand beaches and coral reef. The best time to visit these islands for adventure sports is betwixt November and April.

Andaman Divers Special is covered to north-south for about 225 miles (360 km) and includes more than 300 islands, some two dozen of them inhabited. North Andaman, Middle Andaman, and South Andaman are three major islands. They are closely set and known as Great Andaman. Little Andaman is also spectacular, to the south.

The Sentinalese, the Jarwa, the Onge, and a group of people are known as the Great Andamese. It is only the first three retain and a traditional hunting-and-gathering way of life. Andaman water sports include scuba diving, snorkeling and boating in water sports complex.

Andaman waters offer you a fascinating world of under-water marine life, varieties of colorful fishes, rarest of the coral reefs in the world, mysterious remains of sunken ships, etc. All these can be explored through Scuba diving. Private divers are also available. The society of scuba diving in Andaman is situated at Wandoor. It provides Scuba Diving opportunities to adventure lovers.

The dazzling life of underwater flora and fauna, the mysterious remains of the sunken ships can be explored and closely viewed through scuba diving. Andaman scuba diving clubs provide training to amateurs.

For snorkeling, you can enjoy the under-water marine life and view the rarest varieties of corals near the Andaman Water Sports Complex, Corbyn's Cove Tourism Complex. The Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, Havelock and other islands are depending on weather. Cinque Island is another location with some fantastic coral. Snorkeling is also possible off Port Blair at the Sippighat Water Sports Complex near the Fisheries Museum.

Andaman Water Sports Complex is situated in Andaman Water Sports Adventure, has become one of the major attractions of the town. It offers safe water sports such as Rowing Boats, Paddleboat, Kayaks and bumper boats. The complex also facilitates adventure through Water-skiing, Water scooters, Gemini boats, Para-sailing, Sailboats, Wind-surfers, Speedboats, Glass-bottom boats.

Andaman Islands for its water sports would certainly be a preferred tourist destination for one and all!
