I just wanted to thank everyone for welcoming me back to WAYN. I am glad to be back and I will try to get caught up with everything. Thanks for all the Birthday wishes and season´s greetings. I was in cognito during those days.
I felt like I needed to take a break and reflect on all of my traveling. After going to Goma and the Congo, I was deeply affected by what I saw. The poverty, parents looking for their kids, families separated or destroyed, etc. It was very troubling. I was in the middle of a war zone. I had been in these situations before, but I think it all just kind of hit me at one time.
I decided to lay low for awhile and just think and write. I began writing a book about humanity, traveling and my experiences. I hope to finish it this summer and get a publisher for it. In the meantime, it is back to work for me with the travel agencies and the TV shows. I have done some location scouting for Bizarre Foods and No Reservations on the travel channel. I am already in a group that is trying to find the next location for both the US and Australian Survivor series. I have a green light for the travel show with TV Azteca in Mexico (Although we were going to sign everything and finish up negotiations tomorrow in Mexico, but that has been pushed back). So I am still super busy, but enjoying it. I gotta run, but I will talk to you soon.
