WAYN Communication Emails

The following presents the communication emails that are integral to the WAYN service and which WAYN members can, at any time: Disable or turn off Edit and amend frequency (this does not apply to the monthly newsletter) Create more alerts for specific group of friends / interest. 1 - Newsletter: This communication is sent once per month and contains a high level summary of the key changes that are applied to the service and aim to inform the WAYN users of the new functionalities / services introduced within the community. 2.1 "As It Happens" Account Alerts: These alerts get generated "as they happen" and get triggered whenever one of the member's friends conducts on the following actions towards that member: Messages Sends a message Sends an eCard Sends a "shout" or "Say hello" Connections Send an introduction email Profile Shares a profile Trips Sends an invitation to a trip Shares a trip Blogs Shares a blog Photos Share one or more photos Videos Share one or more videos Forums Sends an invite to join a private chatboard Shares a topic or a chatboard post

Trips Is Coming to the member's location Is currently in the member's location Has been to the member's location Shares a trip location and time matches

2.2 "Weekly" Account alerts: These alerts are generated once per week and contain a summary of all actions that have been happening on the member's account and excluding what would be have been captured by the "As It Happens" alerts described above. These are as follows:

From a WAYN Member not in a member's friend list

Messages Sends a message Sends an eCard Sends a "shout" or "Say hello" Connections Send an introduction email Adds the member as a friend Profile Shares a profile Adds a note to the member's profile Views the members' profile Trips Sends an invitation to a trip Shares a trip Blogs Shares a blog Adds a comment to the member's blog Photos Shares one or more photos Rates or comments a blog Videos Shares one or more videos

Forums Sends an invite to join a private chatboard Shares a topic or a chatboard post

From a WAYN Member who is an authorized friend in that member's friend list:

Profile Adds a note to the member's profile Views the members' profile Blogs Adds a comment to the member's blog Photos Rates or comments a blog

2.3 Bi-monthly Trips Alerts: These alerts get generated once every two weeks and apply whenever once of the conditions occur from any WAYN members (excluding friends in a member's friend list)

Trips Members coming to a member's location Members currently in a member's location Members who have been to a member's location Members who share a trip location and time matches with a member

2.4 WAYN Friends: WAYN will provide you with 6 friends on your initial registration. These 6 friends are provided to you as contacts to help you navigate the site and use the services. These friends are acting on behalf of WAYN, being either employees or contractors of Where Are You Now? Ltd. At any time you may receive updates when these friends: View your friends Send you a message Add content to the WAYN site (reviews, blogs etc) or their profile (photos, videos etc) These are only to encourage your awareness of the site features and your online activity to ensure you are making the most of your WAYN membership. You may remove these friends from your contact list at any time and your privacy preferences will also extend to these contacts.
