Rio de Janeiro is a safe and beautiful city. If you like to have an adventure, here is the best place to do. You can hike in the montains, climb the sugar loaf and you will be amazing how beautiful the city is there. You can go to Búzios that is an 2 hours from Rio and have wonderfull beachs. Ipanema has nice bars and lapa always is great to go out in the night life. You will have a lot to do in Rio, enjoy your time and please don´t use expensive stuff.
