It's full of culture, history and wonderful people. It has a wonderful ocean. The weather in the city never snows and the maximum temperature for cold is 15 degrees Celsius. It has beautiful mountains, wherever you go you see the beautiful view especially from a restaurant in the mountains. In the mountains it does snow. You can go skiing and snowboarding. The mountains in the summer are great for hiking, rock climbing, camping, picnics and taking walks. All over Lebanon you can take wonderful walks especially in down town Beyrouth. It has a great variety for shopping, dancing and just going for coffee, cocktails and appetizers.

hello my friends, Beirut is a magical city where East and West mix and make a new flavour.It houses all cultures; it is almost the only city where a mosque and a church stand side by side and people pray peacefully.Beirut,where i was born and raised, is exceptional......it is a window to the world.....i find hard to be objective here...there are many places to go: the Down Town, the Sea Corniche, The Musuem, Hamra Street( do not miss that).....but in Beirut do not try to drive a a car....they will drive u nuts....beiruties are welcoming people, open-minded, and love visitors. use ur feet or a bicycle.....Goo d luck.
