Stockholm is one of the fascinating cities that I have ever visited. It is the hometown of most popular Nobel Prize. The climate is extremely varied, with four distinct seasons. The summer has 18 hours of daylight whereas it is only 6 hours in winter. Stockholm is located on Sweden's east coast. The central parts consist of fourteen islands and the city is surrounded by water. The old town is within the walking distance of many popular museums, restaurants and the shopping district. It is the home for many IT companies, including Ericsson. Most people speak English and it is not very difficult to get around the central city. Stockholm is Sweden's financial center. There are a number of well known educational and research institutions. The City Hall where the Nobel Ceremonies take place is something that everyone should visit. We stayed at one of the historic hotels in the city and some parts of Sweden. We would love to go back for another visit soon.
