I recommend Gran Bar Danzon in heart of Recoleta district. Food and ambience is fabulous. I highly recommend for any visitors or locals. Prices are reasonable. Nightclub: Asia de Cuba in Puerto Madero. Good music and scene. Doesnt' get busy till 1am or later.

where is a good and safe place to stay?

The city is wonderful. It has so much to offer. From sunny patio restaurants to awsome theatres, museums, rides on carriage, etc. Beautiful architecture that reminds you or Paris at times, at other moments you think you are in Spain. It is very European, yet unique. The combination of modern and old style in and out of buildings is fascinating. It is one of my favourite cities in the world.
