I have never been there yet & only YET, as I am planning to visit the country this year, this spring. BUT I know some Serbian people & they inspired me with optimism & enthusiasm for visiting the country. First, that I had noticed about all the Serbian - they are very proud of being Serbian. They are brave, open, good, even perfectly educated & clever, with cold-mind eye to the world about them. and they are very very good tellers ^) ^) so I was captured and now am dreaming of the coming visit....

My experience of Serbia consist only by a six day stay by Serbian people in Beograd (Belgrade) this year. The city and the people i was are like a hidden treasury in Europe. Beograd has all you need to have a wonderful time and when being guided by local people you see the local life. This life can be characterized by warmth and honesty of the people and the city. The city has a pretty good mixture of tiny and cozy suburbs,great historical buildings and overwhelming parks, like Ada and Kalmegdan. For shopping Knez Mihaylova is the place to be, when all shops are dizzying you just continue to end up in the garden to recover = Kalmegdan. I hope by next year I will be there again.
