Best things in Yemen  by Yusef    19th Sep 08
The best things in Yemen are weather, traces, green views, more kind people not all of them. The worse thing are immorality in government, bad administer, high illiterate, spread weapons, Gat chew, more smokers.

yemen  by Salim    11th Sep 08
Life in Yemen is different than maybe what most people are used to, Yemeni people are strict about there traditions and every part of Yemen has it’s own traditions and dress code and so on. I know most people stopped at the (dagger) thing saying “they seem so uncivilized”, so let me explain the “dagger” thing. 1st of all we don’t use it as a weapon a dagger says a lot about the person wearing it, it’s like a car so you have a Mercedes Benz people will know you are rich but if you have a Toyota People will say that you’re doing well, so a dagger is like a social thing not a weapon. Some dagger can cost a lot they can reach about 1 million dollars!!! (And I’m not joking).

My Visit to Aden  by Badih    4th Sep 08
It was in summer of 2005. Although it was a short visit, i enjoyed it quite a lot... :) We were taking over the management of Aden Hotel at that time. The country is simple and the people are so kind. I hope to be able to visit the country once again.

yemen democracy, friendly people  by Kate    18th Aug 08
An interesting country in transition from traditional to modern. A democracy. Friendly, very hospitable people. Transportation is interesting--you hire a car or a cab and driver. Expensive, so take lots of money. The food is great, especially seafood. Go over to the Red Sea area--interesting. The suqs (Markets) are really interesting. Take a camera.
