How I found Wales  by Waheed    26th Mar 09
I lived at at Manchester, UK in 1980s. We frequently visited Rhyll, a coastal town in Wales. We passed through Chester and then entered in north Wales, where the railway stations had dual language based marks. The coast of north Wales was really beautiful, with a lot of fun and entertainment. There was sense of open atmosphere.

more castles then you can poke a  by ****Oz_Opal    19th Sep 08
Well although I visited my very old welsh uncle for a week, I still loved the place. The hills were covered in purple heather when I was there and we walked along the paths and ate wild berries. I loved the rugged look of the land. So to the castles, there are so many, I went to Pembroke castle the seat of the Tudors (my memory is fuzzy) fantastic. Went to St Davids Church really fascinating. Cannot leave out haverfordwest. Simply because it is Christian Bales (Batman) home town Teehehee. I loved the place, loved the people and would really like to return. And remember if your driving Araf is slow!

Brecons Beacons  by Jerome    12th Aug 08
Wales are divided into two parts, North Wales and South Wales. I am going to talk about South Wales. First of all, when you are in South Wales, go to Cardiff. It has a castle for instance and the best of all, Brecons Beacons National Park. You have to try going to the national park early in the morning and spend one day over there when the weather is fine. You will enjoy it. The whole family will enjoy it!!!
