Caracas is my second home! I know it so well. My grandmother lives in La Candelaria which is close to the center or the city and from that point I always go all over Caracas. There is so much to see in Caracas, so much to explore! There are theaters, restaurants, mountains and much much more! The very famous restaurant "La Cita" is on the same block as my grandmother's building so it is a common place to go to! IN La Candelaria alone there are so many Spanish-style "tascas" where one can eat the best "paellas" and "arroz marinero." Casa Bermeo is also very popular with live music every weekend! There are many great places to shop as well! Near Caracas are the towns of Galipan and La Colonia Tovar which is a German colony in the State of Aragua. There is so much to see and do!

Caracas is a wonderful city where you can find mountains, beaches, cable car, German villages, all kinds of restaurants, horse racing, the city where Simon Bolivar was born, splendid hotel, full of activities

I have lost count of how many times I had visited Caracas. Being a flight attendant I would be there at least once a week. After that I visited again when I was in a relationship with a Venezuelan guy. I like Caracas lot becuase of the male attention you get. I think this is one of the cities where men are very open with their compliments towaard women. Feeeling blue or self esteem low... a walk ont he streets of Caracas will make you feel like Miss World. The city has gotten a bit dangerous but still worth a visit.
