Beautiful Place, Warm People  by Marguerite    26th Feb 09
Beautiful country with beautiful people. I got ill by the 2nd day...asthma attack. Was hospitalized so I missed out on much of the fun stuff. Most of the nurses at the hospital I was admitted at, were men...that was strange but definitely a plus (lol). People are friendly and try to make tourists feel comfortable. Enjoyed clubbing the day before my departure....salsa is a rhythmic dance and the people are great dancers.

Simon Bolivar Arise  by June    23rd Jan 09
La bella Venezuela. i ate so much food in Caracas, it was shameful; Lots to see & great for leather goods- shoes & bags. Plaza de oro. you can find any thing in jewellery right here; Caraca has lovely sites. You can go the tracks to see the horses race or you look at the glass blower create a masterpiece in the form of a vase or flower; Or maybe you can travel to the mountains to visit the colonal tovar where you see lots of traditional goods. Do bring along a shawl or a sweater, it is cold. Lastly you must go to the amusement parks & have lots of fun being a child again

Several Landscapes  by Msd    21st Sep 08
Venezuela besides 3000 Km of coasts and plenty beaches (from small solitaire islands ones to Hotels type beaches), but it also has Amazonian landscapes, mountains landscapes, plains landscapes and and even a very tiny small desert. Several small towns are very beatiful and a couple are a Unesco World Heritage List Also the tallest waterfall, The Orinoco river, the longest and highest calble-car are in Venezuela. The people is very warm and friendly with some exceptions in the big cities, where the people is in a rush for something. I hope with my personal pictures, I can arouse your curiosity and visit Venezuela Regards to all Manuel

Isla Margarita  by Sophie    14th Jul 08
Love the weather, loved the beach, the hotel was not all that great, but the staff was a blast. The club (Woody's) was a lot of fun as well. Lots of things to see, places to go, I really enjoyed my trip, I would go again. (not sure on the rating if 1 being great and 5 not so great or vice versa, so to me the trip was great).
