I visited Montevideo, Uruguay in April 2003 to attend 4th Encuentro Interncional Literario. Monte video reminds of Mumbai, India. It is a pleasure to walk on The Rambla. I also visited Punta Del, a habitation of a painter.

I was in Montevideo for 7 months Between May to Dec 2007. It is really a nice place. Very windy sometime. People are very nice. Do eat Chivitos and have Mate. There are few shopping Malls too. It is fun to sit on Pocitos beach during summer.
