Daytona beach is a tourist town. it has many old tourist attractions and is on the beach. it has lots of expensive motels on the beach. as well as a few less expensive ones inland on the mainland side of town. there is the nascar racetrack and there are other things like that there. there is also special events at different times. such as bike week in march/april and biketober fest in oc

Daytona Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the world... and with the ability to drive directly on the beach it makes it one of the most unique ... it also is home to Nascar and the world famous Bike week which I"ve attended numerous times since I live nearby in a smaller outlying area of Edgewater/New Smyrna Beach... there's plenty of shopping nearby, and the space center, theme parks, and cruise ship ports close at hand that can take you to other exotic destinations...
