My First Trip in USA  by Kadambari    8th Oct 08
I was looking forward forth visit. Washington is really a very nice place to visit. I was there for two days and it is not sufficient to see everything. There are so many Museums, Satutiry Buildings, Historic Monuments. The best part was that one can move around Dc very easily and all the place are in walking distance. Yes, one has to walk a lot. A Lot. But he walk is not painful as you can see lovely buildings as you walk from one point to another. The streets are lined by Cherry Blossoms. I wish I can go and see when they bloom.

My Washington  by Jimmy    9th Sep 08
I am not surprised by the comments about this great city as I see it daily either working or playing. This is the best city in the World with friendly people at every turn and great places to visit or chill. Whatever it is you love to do I am sure you will find it here or not far away. Ask me if you have any questions about this city and i will be more than happy to help out any way i can. Rock creek park is great if you are into hiking or camping much like NYC's central park.

A lovely city  by Paul    8th Sep 08
From its iconic monuments and buildings to its historic neighborhoods and free museums, the capital of the United States offers so many interesting attractions, it's hard to know where to begin. Consider a tour of the White House Visitor's Center, a wealth of information about one of the most powerful symbols of American history and politics. From there you can make your way to a number of moving tributes, including the Vietnam War Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. D.C. is especially known for its museums. From the Holocaust to the history of space exploration and from dinosaurs to international spies, there is a museum for almost every area of interest, with many offering free admission. Great shopping, restaurants and Colonial architecture can be found in Georgetown.
