I have lived here for the past 16 years and things have changed over the years. All in all Lancaster is a great place to live. We have activities for most all kinds of tastes, but yes - the CHP & the local LA County Sheriff's are very adamant about making sure you obey the speed limit.

I don't know if this means anything but Lancaster is where I have had 3 speeding tickets in one year. I guess that say how vigilant the California highway patrol is in this area. This city is between Palmdale and Rosamond where I lived and where a lot of the big department store chains were located.
