Anchorage is the best place on earth. It has such a diversified culture it is amazing. The winter carnival called Fur Rondy is quite unique.Ever riden carnival rides at -30 below? You can here in Anchorage.

A really easy walking tour around the down town area is possible, and in summertime on Saturdays we have a Saturday Market that is set up fair style in one of the lots down town where craftsmen from all over Alaska display their wares for sale, along with various types of entertainment, bands, mimes, sword throwers etc. And, one can even buy fresh organic farm vegetables there as well.

Ireally had a good time over there and even went fishing with my brother in law on the Russian and kenai rivers that was awesome and the weather could not be better for this time, a little rainy but it was beautiful I could not wait to go there again on winter.

We moved their the summer of 1995, I was a bit scared at first but when we got their. I loved every thing about it. I was so upset when we moved, it also had some bad memories but mostly good. I wait to go back so bad!
