This is my home town, and it is really a great place to stay if you're interested in coming to Florida and seeing all the theme parks. Located right outside of Orlando, it is good whether it is a family trip or you are younger and looking to have fun. There are some great hotels, as well as villas and houses you can rent for your stay. Kissimmee itself has some less expensive attractions than the theme parks, like Gatorland and air boat rides, plus dinner shows like Medieval Times and Arabian Nights. It is also a good location for wherever you want to drive to, whether its the theme parks (avg. 30 min) or a beach (avg. 45 - 60 min).

Went to Disney for 3 days,it was crowded but worth it then, went to Universel Orlando for 2 days it was the best, then spent a day at Seaworld, really rude employees, then ended my trip at Daytona Beach and had a Blast.Watchout for gift shops that falsely advertise specials around Kissimmee.
