Miami, United States

Miami's cultural diversity is apparent from the moment you set foot on its soil and hear the rise and fall of a dozen different languages being spoken. It is an easygoing beachtown, a refugee camp, and a 24-hour party all at once.

Miami Heat!  by Alana    28th Feb 09
I went to Miami about 10 years ago and haven't forgotten it one bit! A must at least once in a lifetime-and you can party at any age any day! A lot of places I've been are great, but they don't have the food, the weather or the flair that Miami has to offer.

Confusing  by Ronny    27th Feb 09
After staying in USA for 6 years, I found out that in Europe, Africa, India and South East Asia, we spoke the QUEENS English and NOT the American SLANG. Their cars are left hand drive but they claim that they are right because they drive on the right side of the road. Just to be unique they change the spelling of words and want to tell the world that they are the BEST.

To be quite honest I was a bit taken aback, firstly because this was supposed to be The United States and Being an English speaking nation, I was shocked to not be able to communicate. No one spoke English Clearly. Its a beautiful Place though And I enjoyed my visit although it was difficult to communicate well. Thank God I had a little experience with Spanish seeing that it was compulsory to Learn it in High School. But Hey don't loose faith in the place it does have its good side.
