Take in the sights of Hawaii, the Big Island. We took a bus tour with some of the following highlights: Southernmost tip of US, Westernmost tip of US; Parker Ranch; snow on mountains and warm sunny beaches; Volcano Park -steam coming out of the ground; waterfalls made famous in TV shows and movies such as Fantasy Island. Lava tubes, native plants. sugar cane and pineapple plantations, coffee plantation. It was well worth the money for the tour; not sure if we would have recognized all the places of importance without the guide.
