It was a newly renovated hotel. It was ok, not great. Met our needs. The pools and the beach were awesome, great location. Great for the money, booked early so got about a week for $1000. Kitchette, balcony, living area, one bath, two doubles and a sofa. We went to the Legends Show, (impersonators) awesome. Went on a dolphin cruise, a little crowded but fun, saw a lot of dolphins. We loved Senor Frogs and Crabby Mikes, awesome seafood. Best family vacation I think I ever had, but my ex wasn't there, lol.

I travel every year to Myrtle Beach to visit my family. I love being near the ocean and relaxing. Every morning I go for a run along the beach, it is a fabulous way to clear the mind. Unfortunately the weather does not always cooperate, but that doesn't matter; it is still a great place to visit

Charleston has many charms for you to enjoy, as well as places to see outside of the tourist area of downtown Charleston. There are a few places that ones must see, the plantation with all their history and all the other tiny towns outside of city of Charleston. City of North Charleston offers you a wide variety of things to do, many places to eat, and Northwoods Mall and the Citadel Mall, soon coming North Rivers Town Center that is being built as I type this. SO come and enjoy the Charleston hospitality as well as its charm.

Well I tried to give a good listing of interesting places to go to and things to see but I used about 5 times the space that I was allowed.. So I'll just tell you that you can not go wrong by visiting Charleston. There are many old historic sites here.. South Carolina is a quiet place that most people choose to retire too. We have a lot of Islands that are toursit attractions. Overall it is a good place to live if you like that quiet lifestyle.
