I live in Arima and there is another important hotel there.The Holiday Inn,recently opened,three miles north from the Airport.Also there are a few nice restaurants,including authentic Japanese,Chinese and local restaurants.There is also one of the largest shopping malls in the Caribbean located next to the holiday inn. 24 miles north of Arima is the coastal village of Blanchiseusse,with some of the most beautiful rivers,waterfalls, and beaches on the island.Arima is a very beautiful place for the traveler who is interested in meeting people,customs and cuisine.
