Wildlife Safari  by Kiran    1st Jan 09
Recently I went to Tanzania and went on a safari to Ngorongoro Crater, Lake manyara and Mikumi National Park. There is an abundance of wildlife. It was such a great experience that it will be etched in the memory for the rest of my life. It seems a good country with wonderful people. I will be going back to explore more of the wonderful natural world in Tanzania.

Greatest experience of my life  by Yves    23rd Aug 08
I did it. I climbed the Kilimanjaro. The roof of Africa.5895 meters. I climbed with a group of people (12)to raise money for the Québec(Canada) Missing Children Network. They help parents and families with missing or kidnapped children. Our objective was to raise $50000.00 we raised $78000.00. It took 7 days to reach the top. We stayed at the top for 30 minutes and climbed down. See my pictures at the top in my profile.

Dream Trip  by Donna    26th Jul 08
This past spring, I took a dream trip to Mwanza, Tanzania. I have always wanted to go on a missions trip to Africa, but, with being a single Mom, and working at low paying jobs, that kind of trip just never seemed possible. But, this past spring, in February, everything came together, and I was able to go. The finances were there, like never before. I was just outside of Mwanza, working at an orphanage, with 12 other people. What an experience. It is something everyone should do, at least once in their life. Not necessarily in Tanzania, or Africa. But somewhere in the world. I fell in love with all the children at the orphanage, but there were a few that just stole my heart. I have started keeping in touch with those children. Although not able to bring them here, I can go back there. And I plan on it. I am not able to go every year, but every couple of years I will go back, either by myself or with my family. This was a life changing experience for me.

Hi Tanzanians  by Rkja67    17th Jul 08
it seem good country. Full of lively people. I do not know about crime there. Mixed population means lots of ethnic clashes? Good people, very attractive girls, food- enjoy it.
