I have been to Ankara but not yet to Istanbul. there was a great place to visit , lise is not expensive , you can find a small restaurant every where any time with a nice sheep food , you can also make shopping and bay clothes for good price .I hope in Istanbul is same.

Ankara is a great place to be.People are very nice and courteous. Weather was excellent during the two months I was there. There are so many little restaurants and the food is delicious. (If you don't like spicy maybe not for you) I just fell in love with the city, the sound, the music, the food, the place. You got to go. Loved it.

ayvlik is the new place to live
Posted at 22:19, 07 Sep 2008
After nine years of visiting turkey due to having purchased a property. I am excited about again returning. Have not travelled around the world and seen many cultures , the village of Ayvlik is one of a kind. Stone houses fill the central area from the 18 the century. Fish jump in the bay at dusk. And the food is one reason to go to Turkey besides the people who will make up for the curtness of Greece.
