Thailand  by Tim    9th Sep 09
After a nine hour flight from Sydney I arrived in Bangkok .... I was now on holiday greeted by the warm and friendly faces of the Thai people. Bangkok is a grubby bustling gritty sort of place; strange bars, kick boxing, delicious food, tuk tuk drivers always on the hassle to earn some extra dollar... and many beautiful temples. Travelling through Thailand is very easy and affordable... buses, trains, and boats run on a daily basis to all the major attractions and many people speak English... For me Phi Phi island was the most charming and relaxing place within Thailand with many fun things to do there (such as snorkelling)

What attracts me with Bangkok is the huge differences you find here. 5 Star hotels and shopping centres, next to historical monuments and what in the west would be classed as shacks, and it all blends perfectly together. With all its differences BKK has something for everyone, as long as you learn to use the city. There is not enough space to describe it all here, so I would say come and check it out, there is something for you to do, see, eat and experience in BKK.

Koh Samui and Phuket  by Mindy    12th Jun 09
Went during the off season. It was still very much worth visiting. It was the perfect place to relax and the beaches were amazing. The people were so nice and it was easy to get around on your own. Phuket was more 'advanced' than Samui. More shops and hotels. Patong was fun to visit. I stayed a 45 minute drive down the coast. It was incredibly beautiful. I'd recommend a visit!
