I have been to Tibet twice and I love it. I can't wait to go back. The country is beautiful and I have had nothing but great experiences there. You have to have a laid back state of mind to go there and a lot of flexibility, especially if you travel throughout the country. Mudslides, broken vehicles, Yak roadblocks, etc. can cause unexpected delays. I look at it as an opportunity to experience the local culture. Try to venture outside of Lhasa. There is a lot to see and do in Tibet

At the tip of the snow mountain, the sun with its rays brilliantly shining in all directions represents the equal enjoyment of freedom, spiritual and material happiness and prosperity by all beings in the land of Tibet. Lastly, the surrounding border of yellow adorning the perimeter represents the spread and flourishing in all directions and times of the purified gold like teachings of the Buddha.
