Fantastic coastal town about 5/10 miles from Benidorm with a beautiful mountainous backdrop. Away from 99% of the tourist gift shops etc, whilst maintaining a nice array of nice restaurants and more traditional commercial businesses. The sights from the top of the hill beside the Altea church is outstanding, with views all the way to Benidorm and Calpe Rock. Recommended if you like a peaceful traditional Spanish outing with breathtaking views.
