Great place for skiing and snowboarding. Lots of places to get cheap 'local' style food. Sky passes are a respectable price and student rates are available. Loads of accommodation to choose from and if you don't want to stay in a hotel right on the slopes there are loads of accommodation options further away which are cheap. There are regular 'ski buses', from 8 in the morning to 4 or 5 in the evening, going up and down to the resorts from the slopes, so easy, convenient and free!! The ski school there has loads of instructors who speak a variety of languages. They are friendly and great teachers for both skiing and snow boarding, young and older!
