I had a remarkable trip to Romania, and found it very exited with loving people. Bucharest is cool however it was bit hot, but Sanai and the Pales were cool. Hotels were expenses but hospitality was on the top, varsities of food, especially the Arabian food Golden Flakes restaurant.

Bucharest to Iasi

Visited Romania many times, one of my favorite countries in Europe; fabulous food, wine, countryside and well -preserved medieval towns. My flight arrived late and was unable to catch overnight train to Moldova, so went to Iasi and took a taxi when the train arrived in the morning. Romania has made vast improvements sine 7 or 8 years ago but still has a ways to go. Drum Bun!!

Very poor country but some people there are very smart and plan on making it a better place or leave the country to come to the States. A lot of people smoke there in public places. There are panhandlers who are young girls. There are a lot of stray dogs running around. Most people stare at you if you don't look or dress like them. They like to drink and eat. Go to the tourist attractions and you'll have more fun. I worked at an orphanage and they are in dier need of supplies, help, and a new building. They also need neurological surgeons/doctors to treat them correctly. Their medical equipment is ancient.
