Lisbon is a very-very beautiful city on the outskirts of Europe. The hilly surroundings gives the city almost a rural atmosphere, which just makes the impression even better. The modern and new architecture is well represented in the city. Perhaps the most stunning monument is the great statue across the bridge, very similar to that of Rio, or is it the other way around! I found Lisbon not too touristic, which was perfect. People are friendly and helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, something I would recommend to anyone!
