This quiet town of Lucban-Quezon is hiddenly situated in the foothills of Mt. Banahaw. It riches from historical in where The church of St Louis of Toulouse dates from 1738 located on top the ruins of several churches dating back 1595. The area here is pleasantly cool and the narrow streets are full of atmosphere. There are number of of Spanish townhouses that you can see here. The drives in the surroundings verdant hills are lovely.
Its one thing to offer to visitors and tourists is the annual harvest festival and feast of St. Isidro Labrador celebrated every 15th of May of the year. Residents here compete for prizes by decorating their houses with multicolored light paper. Also, abundantly present are the different kind of fruits and vegetables. Giant papier-mache effigies are marched through the streets to the the town church.
Lucban is also know for its longganisa (Chinese style pork sausages) and pancit (fried noodles) cooked and prepared in a different way.
