Quezon Province Capital--Lucena  by Ally.yanna    11th Oct 08
The capital of Quezon is Lucena-- a 120 km southeast of Manila, on the way to lively fishing port of DALAHICAN, which is the departure point for passenger boards to Marinduque. Lucena is a pleasant stop before catching a boat or continuing your journey south. QUEZON AVE, is the main shopping street in this area. with numerous restos and some Internet Cafes. Nearby is the SAN FABIAN CATHEDRAL and several banks near the Gomez and Granja Sts. At MUSEO NG QIEZON located at provinial Health Bldg. Quezon Capitol Compound-Quezon Ave, is open 9am-noon and 1-4pm Mon-Fri. This is where numerous house items of memorabilia of the first Commwealth of the Philippines were kept and displayed.
