Boracay Getaway  by Nikki Rose    9th Nov 09
A very strong typhoon "Peping" was pounding the Philippines when we boarded our flight to Boracay. Strong winds, heavy rain & powerful waves greeted us there. However, these only made me see the side of Boracay that is wonderfully wind-blown and ruggedly beautiful. We hanged out at the hotel bar (Sea Wind) that night, with the wind howling as our background music. The next morning, it was still drizzling a little, but the sun continued to shine that afternoon until the day we left. The staff at SeaWind are very helpful and friendly. We rented our own boat and we went island hopping. We also climbed Mount Luho through our ATV's and went Paraw Sailing. There are a lot clubs and bars there too.. Boracay will always hold a special place in my heart and I will always go back there over and over again.

1st time in Boracay  by Ruthchell    17th Dec 08
It was my first time to be in Boracay. Since I'm not a beach lover I was not looking forward to this trip. If it was not for the work, I will not spend a money to get there. But, when I saw the place, I immediately fell in love with it. The sand, the wind, the water... they're one of the best not to mention the hotel where I stayed... the Boracay Regency Hotel. The hotel was great, from the front desk to the room plus the facilities and its proximity to the beach. Though expensive since the accommodation costs twice to thrice compared to other hotels, it was worth it. Then at night, there's this MO2 (I think that's the right name) where the band played so well outside. And when midnight comes, they have a bar where you can dance, sing with the band, listen to music, etc. I just wish I'll have another chance to go there.. to fully enjoy whatever the place has to offer from sunrise to sun down.

Cave beauty  by Rommel    27th Dec 07
In Aklan, have fun swimming in the many natural water pools around scenic Javili Falls. Tindog Falls in Madalag, south of Kalibo, also has a natural swimming pool. This is unique as its basin is located above, rather than below the falls. Another natural attraction worth a visit is Tulingon Cave. Stretching for many kilometers, it is one of the longest cave systems in the Philippines.

BORACAY  by Christian    5th Jun 08
This small island is the most popular of all the 7,107 islands in Philippines. It has 4 km. White sands, tourquise blue water. From Manila to Caticlan it takes an hour flight, then 20 - 30 minutes Catamaran boat and thats an experience.... I stayed there for a week and its either i am swimming the whole day and sunbathing at night i walk along the beach. You have to see the sunset, my God, its beautiful... Along the beach they have bars and restaurants where you can eat grill fish, etc. shopping is there cheap too...
