Barranco is the home of great Peruvian poets, beginning with symbolist poet Jos Mara Eguren, then Adolfo Westphalen, Estuardo Nuez, and so on. Barranco has a magnificent architecture of Italian style, it is a small district in Lima, only 3 km square, it has beach, restaurants and pubs.
