Love to watch whales then most certainly go to Kaikoura. Also good for wine tasting. Took a helicopter ride over the water stretch. Saw some whales but more than the whales the landscape was so very beautiful wanted to hug it and take it home with me.

A nice place to re-pack the car and strech legs. Dining and accomadition.
