If you're too drunk to make it home, why not have rest? The police will kindly inform you you can't sleep in the street and bung you in a taxi... At least, I think it was the police. Lots of bars, friendly people. It doesn't really come alive 'till around midnight so best not to start drinking at lunchtime. Didn't realize some bars don't shut 'till you leave...
