Amsterdam...3 days of pubs and co  by Dave    7th Jun 09
Amsterdam is the perfect place for a short stop over or long weekend. 3 days is just about right to see the city and sites. Excellent pubs and great coffee shops

Excursion en barco por los canal  by Nora    28th Apr 09
It's an ideal opportunity to combine my visit to Germany with a one and a half day trip to Amsterdam. My second trip after 10 years when I first set my foot in Amsterdam. I love to experience Amsterdam from the water during the stunning 1 1/2 hour cruise. Still amazed with the beauty of the canals with all their bridges, houses and houseboats. Visited Van Gogh Museum as I really love his collection of works. Don't Miss the Place.

home away from home  by Fly    18th Dec 08
Amsterdam seems to be my stopping off point for most trips to Europe from the Americas. Air fare is generally low, and it's a fun place to shed your jet lag and chill. Be careful of space cakes and space shakes. See all the sites on foot, as everything is centrally located for the most part; otherwise the bus will groove you along - or kick back for an aqua tour via the canals, a great way to take in all of the 17th century architecture with all of its pastel-like colours. I LOVE IT!

One day in Amsterdam  by Anuar    20th Sep 08
I was on transit from London to Kuala Lumpur. Left my baggage at Schiphol Airport and stayed in a bed only lodging house for 10 Euro. The city was beautiful with many majestic buildings along the main road. The water front was a scenic spot and you can take a boat ride from here to see Amsterdam. The country side was indeed beautiful. Common flowers here were the tulips and they were such beauties too.

Europe Bound  by Marianne    3rd Sep 08
I went here several years ago to visit family i Love to go back to introduce them to my family. some day there's nothing to see that dosen't meet or exceed expectations. and with the introduction of the euro it makes it easier to travel throughout most of Europe if you wanted to take a day trip or two. if your planning on going anywhere in Europe its cheaper to land at Schipol airport and Go from there than a direct flight in most cases.
